a t-shirt kinda guy birthday --

hi!  thanks for stopping by!

my dad is a t-shirt and work clothes kinda guy.  this card i made for his birthday -- i love this stamp.  it's from too much fun rubber stamps - check them out - they have all kinds of cool stamps.

this is the t-shirt stamp - i've used it before, and you can see that card here.  you can also see another example of a stamp from this company in this post - actually dad's b-day card from last year - lol.

anyway --- here it is ---

isn't this fun!  i also used a set called celebrations from close to my heart  for the cake and words.  the inks are from stampin' up - marina blue and lucky limeade.  and a mustard colored marker for the flames on the candles.  i also used a dauber with a little of the blue ink to add some color to the t-shirt.

as you may have seen in some of the other posts - this stamp is all one piece that just needs to be cut out and folded.  so cute!

they also have bags -- here is an example of a tote bag stamp they have.

thanks so much for stopping by.  hope you'll drop back in again soon!

in the meantime -- happy stamping! :)

t-shirt . . .

you are going to love this project today!  this is just the cutest!
i'm using these for father's day cards this year ---

how cute is this!  this stamp is from the same company (toomuchfunrubberstamps.com) that i used for the previous post as well as the shirt card and the tote bag cards.  love this!

here is what it looks like open/flat.  the stamp is the same type of stamp as the shirt card -- click the link above to check it out.

other supplies used:
SU - black ink, cameo pink marker - stamp set very punny
the letters are from n alphabet set i had on hand.

this was so quick and easy -- and IMO --- soooo cute!

thanks for stopping by - be sure to check back in tomorrow - i'm working on  birthday card with a cool "new" fold --ok, new to me, maybe not to you, but you won't want to miss it!

thanks for stopping by -- and happy stamping!

dad's birthday --

i recently went to the heirloom rubber stamp and paper arts show in allentown, pa.  i bought this stamp - and i used it today to make a birthday card for my dad.  it's really cool!

here is what it looks like --
it comes from too much fun rubber stamps .  they have all kinds of fun stuff -- t-shirts, onsies, bags - lots of cool things (click on the name to go to their site - they also have lots of examples).  this is the dress shirt.  i also bought the pocket stamp, and be watching for a project i'll post soon using the tote bag.

here is my dad's birthday card - he does carpentry work, and wears a green work shirt all the time --so, this looks like his shirt - with a cute little pencil in his pocket!  i love this!

OMG!  right!  :)

here are some more pics of it - -open, and the back.  it was really easy to do.  the stamp does the work -- one BIG stamp -- and it was easy to cut it out.  i made buttons using a 1/8 punch, and the  pencil was used with the SU  slot punch.

this was the first time i used this stamp -- i'm hooked!  i love it!  might need to go shopping on the site and get some more!!!  i also bought the t-shirt one -- hmmmm. . . will have to play with that one too!

like i said, be watching for a project i'm working on using a tote bag stamp from this company.

have a great day !  thanks for stopping by!  happy stamping!
