i decided to play along with a challenge today at Splitcoast Stampers -- haven't done that in awhile.

This card is for the clean and simple (CAS) challenge #151 .  the challenge was to use something "beverage" related - and to keep it clean and simple.

here's the card i did ---

sorry -- the picture isn't the best.  the stamp set is from stampin' up - called morning cup. i colored it with colored pencils and gamsol.

think i might need to get myself back into doing challenges this year -- got away from them toward the end of last year -- they are always lots of fun!

a new addiction --

have you discovered pinterest yet?  WOW. i think i'm addicted.  hehe -- i find myself playing on here more than i should admit to -- LOL.

anyway -- for those of you who don't know what it is, think of it as a giant pin board - or even a place to hold and organize all of your favorites and bookmarks.  it's a community of sorts - you and others share pins - see something you like and want to be able to find it again - pin it to your board.  you can have boards of all sorts --

happy new year!

well, once again time has gotten away from me!  i won't make any excuses, but will apologize for not updating this sooner.  but -- not to worry, it's a new year, and there WILL be new post!

i've been working on some new ideas that i'm excited to share with you. 

also coming this year i hope to spotlight some shops on etsy.  i've meet some wonderful people, who have wonderful shops and items.  i'd love to introduce you to them.

another thing coming to this blog this year - product reviews.  i hope to be able to start trying and reviewing some craft products and showing you how or if they work
